TCWIB Releases Tri-County State of the Workforce Report
The Tri-County Workforce Investment Board (TCWIB) commissioned Pennsylvania State University to produce a State of the Workforce report for the local area that outlined the area’s position in terms of workforce demand, current and future workforce supply, and quality of life. The objectives of the State of the Workforce Report include the following.
• Identify competitive strengths and challenge areas for the tri-county region
• Build a credible foundation for strategic planning and engage policy makers and stakeholders
• Raise career awareness of youth
• Identify considerations for employment and training providers
